These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Camo Words mobile application and related website operated by Lavation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Camo Words, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Camo Words is a word-search puzzle game with optional daily missions, achievements, multiple game modes, in-app purchases, and advertising in the free version. Features may change, be added, or removed over time.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained the app.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or interfere with the Service or other users
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
4. Virtual Items and Progress
Gameplay progress, streaks, achievements, hint tokens, and similar items have no real-world cash value, are not transferable, and may be lost if you delete the app, change devices, or clear app data. We are not obligated to restore lost progress except where required by law or store policy.
5. In-App Purchases
Remove Ads and other purchases are processed by Apple or Google. All billing, refunds, and subscription management (if applicable) are subject to the store’s terms. Use “Restore Purchases” in Field Config to recover eligible purchases on a new device signed into the same store account.
6. Advertising
The free version may display ads, including rewarded and interstitial formats. Ad availability varies by platform and region. Purchasing Remove Ads removes ad placements as described in the app.
7. Intellectual Property
Camo Words, including its name, artwork, puzzles, UI, and code, is owned by Lavation and protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LAVATION AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $25.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lavation from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by nature should survive termination will survive.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply.
13. App Store Terms
If you obtained the app through Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for the Service or these Terms.
14. Changes
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
